Brief Summary:

Marist College invites applications and nominations for adjunct faculty in Public Administration beginning in the spring and summer semesters of 2017.  Areas of specialization include healthcare administration, politics and policy, economics in the public sector, program planning & evaluation, and public budgeting.  The Marist Master of Public Administration program is seeking qualified part-time faculty to teach three credit eight week graduate courses offered both online and in face-to-face formats. To ensure students are prepared to serve as leaders in a global and diverse society, the MPA program promotes social equity and inclusion in its Student Body, Faculty, and Curriculum.    

Duties and Responsibilities:

Face-to-face classes meet weekly in New York City, Poughkeepsie and Albany.  The program is seeking adjunct faculty members who, in addition to teaching their classes, participate in the life of the School and its activities. This will include completing learning outcomes assessment duties as needed, and participating in the community as a representative of Marist College, the School of Management, and the MPA program.


Candidates must have a commitment to excellence in teaching, relevant practitioner experience, and should have earned a masters degree in public administration or other relevant discipline.
