Brief Summary:

Position responsible for development, enhancement, deployment, and maintenance of industry-leading enterprise software systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, development, documentation, analysis, creation and testing of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user of system design specifications
  • Design, develop, integrate and troubleshoot complex software systems that run in mixed system environments
  • Lead and mentor junior developers as well as student programmer team. Collaborate with other departments on system requirements definition, prototyping, designing, coding, testing and deployment to meet business requirements.
  • Research and analyze industry standards and trends and make recommendations to management regarding technology improvements, upgrades and modifications. Advise on alternatives and assess technical limitations within operations realities.
  • Collaborate with other departments on system requirements definition, prototyping, designing, coding, testing and deployment to meet business requirements.
  • Perform load testing, performance tuning and configure system settings and options.
  • Develop effective written and oral communications.  Develop and deliver oral presentations and speak articulately on an impromptu basis.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and six years of demonstrated success developing a variety of software systems. The ideal candidate should have experience developing data-driven applications utilizing relational database engines as part of the overall application architecture. Ability to work in a rapidly changing, technological and innovative team-oriented environment is essential. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences including management and cross functions groups are required.
