Brief Summary:

The Graphic/Web Designer creates design layouts for digital and printed materials to support Marist’s marketing and communication efforts. Produces visual concepts for the website that communicate the Marist story. Collaborates with constituents across campus to develop communication initiatives that support the goals and objectives of the College. Ensures content and brand message is consistent, timely, and relevant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops graphics, animation, and artwork for the Marist website, social media outlets, mobile app, and emails.
  • Uses graphic design software to create layouts for PowerPoints, newsletters, brochures, booklets, exhibits, etc.
  • Serves as a liaison with outside vendors to ensure quality and adherence to Marist’s branding standards, including the College Bookstore/Barnes & Noble.
  • Serves on the Marketing Communication Group (MCG), the internal committee charged with brand and content management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with equivalent work experience required. Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. Must have proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Mac Operating Systems.
